L.J. Chachere
L.J. Chachere moved to Dayton in August of 1955, where he taught Ag in the Dayton school district until he opened Chachere Feed Store Inc., in Dayton in 1963. L.J was joined by two of his sons, Matt and Rob, and later by his grandson Brad in the business. L.J. passed away in the fall of 2016, however his legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren and the business he left behind.

Matt Chachere
Matt has two daughters and a son, Leighton, Emma and Logan. Matt, too, is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, is a Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church, and is involved with the Dayton FFA Sales Committee. He also enjoys attending livestock shows with his children.
Brad Chachere
They have been actively involved in the community whether it is through the local church, livestock shows or other various community activities. They are also involved in the show industry and show all over the state.
